Are your clocks custom made or pre-built?
Most of our clocks are built to order, starting from recognizable designs and customized with your choices. We also offer a small line of Economy clocks that are built in larger quantities and finished to order for quicker turnaround.
How much can I customize a clock?
Customization is a big part of what we do. Depending on the clock style, you can choose wood species and many design details. For those looking for something entirely unique, we also build fully custom clocks and even historical replicas!
What’s the difference between Economy Clocks and others?
Economy clocks are a budget friendly starting point, built from red oak, and kept ready to finish. These ship faster than most custom orders, and while they don’t have all the options found in other models, stain and movement type can still be selected.
What types of movement do you use?
We offer both battery-powered and mechanical wind-up movements. Our wind-up locks use Hermle movements, made in Germany and known for reliability. They are carefully installed and oiled in our shop to ensure long-term performance.
How long will it take to receive a clock?
Turnaround time depends on the style and level of customization. Economy clocks typically ship within 1-2 weeks, where most custom clocks take 3-4 weeks. Grandfather clocks are built and assembled to order and can take 4-6 weeks.
Do you offer repairs or sell clock parts?
No, we focus exclusively on building new clocks. We no longer sell parts or kits and do not perform clock repairs. The catalog includes trusted third-party contacts for repairs and parts if needed.
